2025 1L Diversity Fellowship

Description:

• A 10-week paid summer associate position in the Houston office.
• A $10,000 scholarship to be used for 2L year.
• A $5,000 award to be used for 3L year, provided the student has received and accepted an offer to join the Summer Associate program for a minimum of eight weeks during their 2L summer.
• Candidates must be a first-year law student in good standing pursuing a Juris Doctor degree at an ABA-accredited law school with a strong interest in practicing law in Houston.
• Candidates must have a strong academic record as well as experience that demonstrates great promise for a successful career in the legal profession.
• Candidate must demonstrate how they meaningfully contribute to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion at their law school or legal community and commit to continued contributions upon entering the legal profession.
• The fellowship is open to all eligible applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or any other protected identity or status.
