Responsibilities and practice:
Dentons US LLP is seeking a rising third-year law student to join our sophisticated and highly-regarded Real Estate practice in our New York (Midtown) office in the Fall of 2025. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials and a strong interest in real estate law. The associate hired for this position will collaborate closely with dedicated partners and associates on a variety of complex transactional matters.

Contributing to the coordination and execution of complex commercial real estate transactions including real estate development and construction, asset-based lending and commercial leasing.
  • Performing due diligence for and assisting with closing financings, acquisitions, sales, leases and the development of real property
  • Supporting the practice as needed

Pursuant with New York law, the salary range for this position will be $225,000 based on experience. Based on years of experience, Dentons associates may have a title of Associate, Managing Associate, or Senior Managing Associate. Dentons US LLP offers a competitive salary and benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, short-term/long-term disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, paid holidays and discretionary bonuses.

Position Requirements:
Personal skills/attributes:
  • Possesses outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Has strong interpersonal skills
  • Is comfortable managing multiple workloads and can prioritize work effectively
  • Embraces teamwork and values collaboration

Technical skills:
An interest and/or previous experience in real estate and/or finance is strongly preferred

Other Requirements:
  • Strong interest in real estate
  • Previous law firm experience is preferred
