Abramson Labor Group is seeking a highly motivated, well-qualified Associate Attorney to join our Workers' Compensation team in Burbank, CA. This position can be done remotely, however an active license with the California State Bar is required.

Associates will report directly to an assigned Senior Associate and are supported substantively and administratively by a large team of paralegals and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:
Essential functions of the role include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Managing a docket of Workers' Compensation cases to resolution
  • Conducting depositions
  • Negotiating settlements and moving matters towards resolution
  • Providing direction and guidance to non-attorneys as needed
  • Bringing positivity to the workplace and leading non-attorneys by example

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Comfortable with fast-paced work environments
  • 2+ years of Workers Compensation experience
  • Doctors' deposition experience (preferred)
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Candidates must be in good standing with the California State Bar
