Position Summary:
Multi-state Creditor's Rights law firm seeks new associate attorney to join our Portland, Oregon team. Prior experience is not required, but the chosen candidate will have an appetite for learning, a positive attitude, and a desire to work as part of a close-knit team dedicated to providing outstanding service to our clients and the community. The position will primarily be in office in our downtown Portland location, but some remote work opportunity may be provided as circumstances allow. Oregon State Bar membership and means of transportation to courthouses in Oregon required.

Description of Duties:
Appear in court and mediations representing clients; legal writing and research; prepare and sign court pleadings; communicate with clients professionally and timely

Experience and Skills:
J.D. from accredited law school, Oregon State Bar admission and active membership license

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is consistently required to: walk; use hands to finger, grasp, feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop and consistently sit, talk or hear. Employees may be required to perform all functions on a repetitive basis. Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally; lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, to include the human body. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work Schedule:
The work week is typically Monday through Friday, with business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST. The work will be in-office, full time, to start.
