Responsibilities and practice:
Dentons US LLP is seeking a Senior Attorney specializing in non-patent IP law with excellent academic credentials and 8-12 years of experience to join our dynamic Intellectual Property & Technology practice. There is flexibility for this position to be full time or part-time, M-F reduced schedule. This is a great opportunity to do interesting work for industry-leading clients with a group of dedicated colleagues who are passionate about their work. Responsibilities include:
  • Domestic and international trademark strategy
  • Domestic and international trademark clearance searches and filings
  • TM search, prosecution, defense and enforcement in the United States, USPTO and worldwide
  • TM/copyright counseling
  • Copyright search, prosecution, defense and enforcement, including DMCA
  • IP due diligence
  • IP licensing
  • Contracts generally with a focus on IP
  • IP litigation support
  • Anti-counterfeiting
  • UDRP filings

Pursuant to DC and New York laws, the salary range for this position in DC and New York is $175,000 to $325,000 based on experience.

Technical skills:
  • 8-12 years of experience
  • Broad IP experience
  • Strong academic credentials
  • In-house experience a plus
  • Nonlegal work experience a plus

Other Requirements:
  • Licensed to practice law in the state corresponding to the Dentons office of interest and be in good standing of that state bar
