Kutak Rock's Omaha office is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 1 to 4 years of litigation experience to work within our Commercial Trial and Financial Services Litigation group. This position will involve working on a wide range of litigation, including:
- Complex commercial business-related litigation
- Product liability and other tort litigation
- Securities and banking litigation
- Shareholder disputes
- Regulatory matters with the SEC, FINRA, DOJ, and various state regulatory departments
Responsibilities will include defending and litigating a broad range of complex litigation matters in federal and state courts, as well as arbitration forums, across the country. Opportunities will include forward facing client interactions, and experience in handling hearings, depositions and at trial.
Qualifications:- Excellent academic credentials
- Law Degree (JD) from an ABA accredited law school
- Commitment to excellence and professionalism
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to take on substantive and leading roles in cases, including attendance at hearings, depositions, and trial
