The Dallas office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP is seeking an Associate to join its Real Estate Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of commercial real estate experience with an emphasis on acquisition, disposition or financing of commercial properties; as well as development of unimproved real estate for commercial purposes. Candidates who also have experience with renewable energy, leasing, development and/or joint-venture transactions are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates must have excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills, as well as strong experience reviewing title, survey and other customary due diligence matters. Candidates should have the energy, drive, and desire to work in a dynamic, team-based and high-volume environment, with strong attention to detail and motivation to learn. Admission to the TX State Bar or the ability to waive into the TX State Bar is required.
