The Orlando office of BakerHostetler is seeking an Associate with 2-4 years of experience to join its Business Practice Group. As a member of the Corporate Team, the candidate will join a leading national law firm and work with our regional, national, and multinational clients. This opportunity is ideal for those individuals who wish to further their careers in a supportive, collegial and entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate Include:
  • Experience in general corporate and commercial transactions
  • Mergers and acquisitions experience including preparing ancillary documents, performing due diligence, and preparing diligence reports
  • Experience drafting LLC agreements and similar documents for corporate entities
  • Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
  • General financing experience for private and public companies
  • Corporate governance experience
  • Experience in securities offerings, reporting and compliance
  • Superior attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, and exceptional analytical skills
  • Admitted to practice law in Florida.
